A little of history
Les Eyzies de Tayac Sireuil name contains already a part of its history; in fact, the parish of TAYAC dominated its territory until 1905 before it was linked to les EYZIES and with railway and road development the time came to grow. SIREUIL, a small independent municipality until 1972, decided to join its famous neighbour expanding the community to over 3500 hectares, thus forming one of the largest municipalities of Department of the Dordogne.
